Designing Using Inspiration

Where to begin…

Start with an inspiration piece, something you love that makes your heart sing.  It can be a colorful object that you find yourself drawn to, it can be something as simple as a greeting card you received to the cover of your favorite book.  We have even used a favorite piece from a customer’s wardrobe when they drew a blank.  Use your imagination and have fun with it.

The first thing you need to do is pick out your color palette from your inspiration piece.  We chose Front Porch for the wall color and pulled out Irish Cream and Studio Blue Green as the basis for our window treatments and accents.

Below is some of the beautiful fabrics we chose for the window treatments and custom throw pillow to add a splash of pattern continuity across the room.  

Too often we neglect the most important piece in our rooms.  What is a bedroom without gorgeous bedding that you can dive into at the end of your day?
